Means of communication (email, automated telephone call and text messaging)

Different means of communication enable you to receive appointment confirmations and reminders, as well as messages of general interest, automatically by email, automated telephone call or text message (SMS), according to your preference. Email is the default means, but you can unmark this option when you schedule an appointment or, later, by updating your contact information.

Types of confirmation and reminder

Cancellation: Confirms the cancellation of the appointment.

Confirmation: Confirms the appointment after it has been reserved. For text messaging (SMS), a second text message is transmitted to notify you that a fee may apply depending on your service package with your cell phone company.

Contact information changed: Confirms that your contact information was changed with regard to an appointment.

Change of appointment by the clinic: Confirms that the clinic has changed the appointment. For any question on the change, contact the clinic directly.

Reminder: A reminder will be sent on the day before the appointment. In certain cases, based on the parameters selected by the clinic, a reminder may also be sent 3 days before. Reminders are sent between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., 7 days a week.

Notice: Notifies you that you have missed a medical appointment.
